There is increased use and prescribing of emotional support animals (ESA). Beyond housing accommodations, they are increasingly being seen on college campuses, brought to stores, into restaurants, on planes and other public accommodations. Many of these owners have garnered the same status for ESA as that of service animals (SA).
I was wondering what is the community thoughts on allowing ESA into medical facilities, i.e., offices, hospitals, or even procedure rooms? What could be the repercussions, if any, for refusing to let ESA into a medical facility? Would the ADA rules kick in?
